- Chain (ch)
- Double Crochet (dc)

- 4 mm crochet hook (you can also use 3,5 or 3, just make a few extra chains)

Pattern for the Summer Breeze Top
Getting started
Make your starting chain from shoulder to shoulder, adding about 10 cm (4") extra for ease. Your chain needs to be a multiple of 2, plus 6.
For a size medium, I needed 90 stitches for my desired width, so I added 6 extra chains, chaining 96 total.
Row 1: Chain 96 (or as many as you need, in a multiple of 2 plus 6). Starting in the 6th chain from the hook, work 1 dc. *Ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in the next st.* Repeat from * to the end of the row, working 1 dc in the last stitch.
Row 2: Chain 4 (counts as 1 dc plus ch 1). *1 dc in the next dc, skip 1.* Repeat from * to the end of the row, working 1 dc in the last stitch.
Repeat Row 2 until you reach your desired length. For a size medium, I worked 39 rows total.
