The boxed bead stitch is a fun variation of the bead stitch. It looks like the stitch is in little boxes, hence the word. I love this stitch and I'd like to share a video tutorial on how to make it.
This stitch pattern is for those with experience. not for complete beginners. If you are a beginner, you could try the mini bean stitch first.
This stitch will look great in many projects. A pillowcase, a bag, or washcloths are some ideas that you can use this stitch for. Be aware that you need much yarn for this stitch, so for a big blanket, you need much!

Once you have mastered this stitch, you can make this pretty Pearl Pouch! Check out the free pattern here. This was one of my first patterns and it is so fun and quick to make.
