If you are like me you also like to purchase that beautiful, new skein(s) every once in a while. But then you look through your stash and recognize that it is growing, not shrinking! So while buying new skeins is fun, we also have to make sure that we are using up our leftovers.
We need to make room for new yarn!
A c2c crochet blanket works up pretty fast. Depending on how your big your yarn stash is, it could reduce it pretty well if you don't have too much.

The C2C crochet method — why I love it
The reasons why I LOVE the c2c crochet method is that it creates a beautiful and elegant texture. You can follow a graph, or just change colors whenever you see it fit.
I am gonna show you the simple steps that I took to find the yarn in my stash to make this beautiful blanket!
Step 1. Go through your stash
Sort though your yarn and separate cotton yarn from wool and acrylics. Because you need to decide what kind of fiber you want to use, and stick to that. This is important because cotton and wool doesn't go so great together.
Step 2. Decide on the colors
Do you want your blanket to be in random colors, or do you want to have a matching color way? Now, if you have a huge stash, you can do both! If you have just a bit of cotton yarns with similar colors, you can make something small. A dishcloth or a scarf is something that you can make with the c2c technique too.
I went with matching colors on my scrap c2c crochet blanket and I love how it turned out. But a project with random colors might look good too, just be sure to think about where you are placing the different colors.
Step 3. Start crocheting!
Now we want to start making our c2c project! The advantage with a c2c project is that it goes relatively fast! I made my blanket in a couple if weeks, while making other projects on the side. Mine is made with wool and acrylics.
