Hello friends!
Today I have one more eastern related pattern for you, and this time I've made a simple and beginner friendly crochet basket! To make it totally easy for those of you who can't read a crochet pattern, I've made a video tutorial. Now if you're looking for a way to use up your scraps, than this is the pattern you've been looking for. You can make them bigger, just add extra rounds, or just follow my instructions for a mini basket. In a few days I will post another pattern that will go great with this one, so don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter so you don't miss it!
One thing that's great about these baskets are that they are so fast to make! I think I spend about 10 minutes on one basket and you can make several in one evening. Also this is a pattern easy to learn so you can watch a movie or your favourite show while crocheting. How great is that!
I had a lot of fun creating this video for you, but it was also a little frustrating because I had to make 3 videos because 2 of them was not sharp. But I hope I'll nail it on the first attempt next time and that I will get it done a little faster.
You can but candy in these baskets or just use them for decoration.
I used a crochet hook with a size 3,5mm/6 but if you want a bigger basket just use a bigger hook and a thicker yarn. I recommend cotton yarn for this project. I love to work with cotton yarn and creating these baskets really set me in a spring mood! Now if you are looking for more easter related patterns, check out these cute easter chicks!
I actually never created such a simple pattern before and I think I will more in the future! I hope you will like it and that you will share pictures of your finished baskets with me! Tagg me on Instagram or join me on Facebook!
