Crochet lamb ornament

Hello folks! My second ornament pattern for you is a cute lamb ornament! This is a very fun and cute project and I hope you’ll like it. These are quick and easy to stitch up, and I bet you could make several ornaments in one evening! I am having so much fun making Christmas patterns for you! This is the second one that I am releasing. Last week I released these angels. They are a free pattern too!

I’ve made a video tutorial on how to make this lovely lamb ornament. The head part is the same pattern as for the original pattern. I only used a different kind of yarn to make it smaller. The pattern for the hat is only available in the video tutorial. So if you already know how to make the head, you can just fast forward to the hat part. I have listed the time where the part of the hat starts at the beginning of the video.

If you want the written version of the head, check out the free pattern for Sverre the lamb. Follow the instructions for the head only. I used a 2.5 mm crochet hook and sports weight yarn.

Christmas market

I am crocheting for my son’s Christmas market at school this year, and I think these little lambs would be a great contribution. If you want to sell these at Christmas markets as well, you are very welcome to use this pattern! I bet these will sell well! They are also quick to make and doesn’t use up much yarn.

The yarn

I have used a sports weight yarn for the lamb ornament. I recommend using thinner cotton yarn if you want a small one. You can also size up and use thicker yarn and hook if you want bigger ornaments. The amount of yarn that you need to make one head is very small, so this is a great way to get rid of some leftovers.
