Hi friends! It’s finally happening, the pattern for this lovely crochet shawl is going live! I am so excited about this crochet shawl! Firstly, it is super quick to make because it’s made with a size H/5 mm crochet hook. Secondly, I’ve included simple stitches so it is very easy and beginner friendly to make. If you are new to crocheting, this is the shawl for you! But also more advanced crocheters will have fun with this pattern as well!

Because not everyone is as comfortable with reading patterns, I’ve also made a little video to show you how to make the shawl.
So go ahead and find some yarn, a hook, tapestry needle, and some scissors, and you’re good to go!
The design process
Designing a shawl is something that I’ve tried to do for some time now. I never made a crochet shawl pattern before, so I needed a few attempts before I finally got it right.
When I am faced with a challenge, I try not to give up. So this time I just went back to the basics, created a simple stitch pattern repeat and then it said click. It finally worked! I am so happy to be able to share it with you today.
The yarn
The yarn is sponsored my Hoobii, My first sponsored yarn, yay! They let me pick the project and the yarn myself so I went for a yarn cake is called Lollipop. One skein has 350 meters and is 200 grams, so this is more than enough for a shawl! The yarn consists of 80% acrylic and 20% wool, therefore, it is soft and warm. They have so many gorgeous colors to choose, so go and have a look!
