Looking for a pattern for a crochet pumpkin for fall? This is an easy pumpkin made of a rectangle. You only need to know how to make single crochet and I’ll show you the rest in the video!
Do you see the mouse in the background? Later this week, I am releasing the pattern for the mouse too! Her body is made as a pumpkin so you can go ahead and crochet that now while you wait for the mouse.

The pumpkin is made with sports weight yarn and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. Feel free to use thicker yarn and a bigger hook for a bigger pumpkin.
Halloween CAL part 3
For halloween and fall we are having a little crochet a long on this blog. The first pattern was this friendly (but scary) ghost, the second was a bat.
For the third and fourth part, I wanted to do something different, so I came up with this pumpkin mouse. The pattern for the mouse will be released on Friday, so stay tuned!
Christmas is coming soon!
Yep, it is only three months!
I am also starting to think of patterns for Christmas. I was browsing on the Lion Brand website when I saw these butterfly cute reindeers! There is a kit you can buy with everything that you need, including the pattern.
I have to work on new patterns too, but while you wait, you can check out these popular Christmas tree from last year.

Row 2: 1 sc in each stitch in BLO, ch 1, turn = 22 sc

Fold the piece and lie so that the short side lies on each other. Sl st through both panels to join them until you get to the top to create a cylinder. Sl st through the BLO on both panels. See pictures below.
When you have reached the top, use your needle and strand of yarn and weave in and out across the top gaping that where created by each row around the cylinder. Sew up and down and until the end of the round. Now pull the yarn so the ring closes and fasten off. See pictures below for more details.
Repeat this on the other side, but before fastening off, use the yarn and sew up and through the pumpkin to create that pumpkin shape. Remember to add stuffing before closing.
