This simple crochet flower can be used for many things and it is so easy to make! I made some for the market bag that I am releasing when I have everything ready. The marked bag looked a little boring, so I decided to make something to make it more interesting.
These little flowers have 6 pedals but you can easily adjust that by adding more or less single crochet in the first round. However, I recommend you to make a flower following the pattern before you start experimenting. Especially if you are a beginner.
The marked bag looks so much better with these flowers, I find! Such a fun and quick summer project too!

I hope to release the marked bag on Friday, so stay tuned for that.
For me, crocheting is something that I do all year long. How is it for you? Tell in the comments below. Are you a summer or winter/fall crocheter, or do you only crochet during the colder months? If you do crochet in the summer, what kind of projects do you make? Tell us, we wanna know!
I prefer to make small and light things. It can be warm to work on a big blanket during the summer months.
Be sure to check out this collection with other awesome (and free) crochet patterns for the summer as well.

How to make the magic ring
If you are a beginner, I have included the video on how to make the magic ring as well. This is a useful technique to know because you can use it for so many things. I always start my projects with a magic ring whenever I am working in rounds.
