Why You’ll Love This Pattern
This snowflake is quick to make, usually under 15 minutes, and uses simple stitches that even a beginner can master. The finished piece is light, delicate, and versatile, perfect for ornaments, tags, or table decor. If you'd like to give your snowflake a more structured look, you can easily stiffen it with spray starch or fabric glue.
If you enjoy making this snowflake, you’ll love the other Christmas patterns. Try the Crochet Christmas Tree, add a sweet Gingerbread House, or make a simple and classic Christmas Tree Ornament. They're all quick projects that make great gifts, decorations, or keepsakes — and just like this snowflake, they're beginner-friendly and fun to make.

What You’ll Need
You can use any lightweight yarn, but I love how this snowflake looks in white cotton or sparkly acrylic yarn. A 3.0 mm crochet hook works beautifully with most light yarns. You’ll also need scissors and a yarn needle for weaving in the ends. To shape the snowflake, I recommend a light spray of starch or a fabric stiffener and a flat surface for blocking.

How to Shape and Block
To give your snowflake that crisp, elegant finish, gently pin it into shape on a foam board or blocking mat. Then spray it lightly with starch or fabric stiffener and let it dry completely. If you’d like to hang it, add a simple loop of thread or yarn at the top.
